Amber with orange hues. Stone fruits, peach and white flowers notes on the nose. Intense with pronounced but soft tannins coming from the skin contact balanced with refreshing acidity. Medium bodied and moreish, with very good length.

A lively bright colour in the glass with tropical aromas of passion fruit and lychee. The palate is vibrant with refreshing acidity – moreish would be an understatement.

Grapes for this wine were sourced in two parcels – the first from Stellenbosch, which was fermented in stainless steel tanks, the second, from the Swartland, was fermented in older French oak barrels. These components were then blended together to create a deliciously fresh, fruit forward chenin.

Aromas of fresh hazelnuts, candle wax, citrus (lemon and lime) herbs, white peach and granny smith apple.
The palate is powerful and concentrated with fresh acidity, saltiness and a chalky minerality on the very long finish.

The Kalkofen vineyard is located on the western edge of the town of Deidesheim, which is in the heart of the Palatinate wine growing area. The name of the vineyard, Kalkofen, is an old limestone-brick oven in the middle-ages. There is a high content of limestone in this part of the area, which gives a lot of minerality to the vines and is noticeable in the fine wines produced from these Grand Cru (Grosse Lage) vineyards.

Lovely hints of grapefruit, white peach and herbs on the nose of this Sicilian native grape wine with depth and minerality.

One of the largest producers in the region, Tornatore owns 46 hectares of vineyards on the north side of Mount Etna, 1,000m above sea level.  Light straw yellow with intense green reflections.

The estate was founded in 1865 and is still run by the third generation of the same family. Their focus is on native grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nero Cappucci, Carricante and Catarratto, while their winemaking style is more modern in its approach, with lower alcohol and more emphasis on fruit.

59 year-old vines, some of the oldest in South Africa. This complex and interesting Chenin is fermented and matured in clay eggs, producing distinctive notes of yellow apple alongside green melon and lime on the nose. This wine is beautifully structured on the palate, bursting with fresh yellow and white fruit flavours and a subtle yet distinctive finish.

A light and aromatic indigenous wine, Friulano (previously known as Tocai Friulano) is distinguished by its delicate almond notes and subtle white floral aromas. On the palate, it is dry, fresh,and balanced with a pleasant savoury finish and a mineral note.

A special and unique wine from the volcanic Spanish island of Tenerife. An aromatic nose of peach, pears, quince and apricot and sea water. On the palate this rare wine is concentrated and textured with hints of flint and smoke and a saline, long finish.

Food Match: We love this wine for its complexity of aromatics and concentration of flavours on the palate. White fish with fresh asparagus or Samphire is a great pairing.

This is an aromatic wine with notes of lemon, peach, dried mango. On the palate it`s crisp and fresh with flavours of pineapple, stone fruit, and has a citrus finish. You can age this wine 5+ years in the bottle.

Achleiten is a legendary vineyard in the Wachau village of Weissenkirchen. It is famous for wines with inimitable mineral character. Dry stone walls dating back to the 12th century. The silicate-rich soil commands this vineyard’s landscape. On the upper terraces, gneiss is the prevailing subsoil, the lower terraces are dominated by dark, schistous amphibolites.

The Domäne Wachau is deeply rooted in the Wachau region of Austria. Close to 440 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by the members of this quality-oriented cooperative – that makes 30 percent of the entire Wachau vineyard area. These vineyards are found on steep terraces reinforced by old dry stone walls and are part of a World Cultural Heritage. Famous names like Achleiten, Kollmitz, Loibenberg and Tausend-Eimer-Berg are found on the Domäne Wachau’s vineyard map and make it the only winery in the Wachau with wines from all of the most prestigious sites in the region.

This famous Northern Italian Piemontese white grape Timorasso has found a new home in the Ukrainian Black Sea region.

Concentrated, floral, fruity, with a warmth on the palate. Soft, elegant, yet intense. Very typical of Timorasso, mineral with notes of chamomile flower,  yellow plums, and toasted almond in the finish. Lovely!
