Barbera is a black grape variety from Italy. It has the notes of cherry, licorice, blackberry, dried herbs, and black pepper. The wine is dry, from medium to full in body, with medium level of tannins, and high acidity. It is recommended to decant Barbera 30 minutes before serving.
