SUMO will wrestle your taste buds with a flavour combo of tropical fruit, dank herbs and weighty bitterness. Other beers may enter the ring but SUMO will be the last brew standing.

That’s Roadkill hitting your taste buds like a body bouncing off a bonnet. An ABV of 65mph collides with the squishy pulp of unexpecting fruit and leaves super smooth tire-tracks all over your tongue. Roadkill, don’t drink and drive.

Golden English Ale 3.8% abv

The 3 Brewers' golden ale is brewed using unique Herefordshire Cascade hops which give a subtle citrus flavour, coupled with Cara malt to give a light golden colour and a hint of sweetness. An exceptionally refreshing beer and perfect for our balmy English Summers....!

We could tell you that our friends, the 3 Brewers of St Albans, have created an ale that has a deep amber colour, a light hoppy aroma and a rich and rounded malty taste balanced by subtle hoppiness to give a supremely clean, smooth and refreshing taste, but there's no need really. Suffice to say that we think they've created a modern classic here and we're pretty confident that you'll agree - just don't tell the Brewers about the OCD comment, particularly not the big one....

Inspired by the New River's gentle gradient, Five-Inch Drop is a fine India Pale Ale made with selected malts and hops from the UK, New Zealand and the USA creating fresh citrus and pine needle flavours.

Charles Lamb once wrote of his short sighted friend, the poet George Dyer, who after an evening at his house, lost his way returning home and took an unplanned dip in the New River.

With its four malt varieties providing lightly smoked, liquorice and chocolatey flavours, we imagine our smooth, dark Porter would have provided the perfect tonic for Lamb's 'blind' poet after his mishap.
