The offering of Petite Sirah from McManis Family Vineyards is almost black in colour but with a vibrant and youthful hue. The nose has an abundance of ripe black fruits, predominantly blackberry and boysenberry. Oak aging has contributed a pleasing mélange of rich creamy caramel and maple syrup scents, with just a barely perceptible waft of smoke. Savoury and luscious with a pleasantly persistent finish.

Estate Grown Wetmore Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is named after one of the Livermore Valley’s most prominent pioneers, California’s first agricultural commissioner renowned for planting vine cuttings from many of Bordeaux’s top Châteaux in the temperate Livermore Valley in the 1880s. The descendants of vines Wetmore brought from France thrive today in the gravelly loam soils of our certified sustainable estate vineyards between the Arroyo del Valle and the Arroyo Mocho, streams flowing from the southern hills of the Livermore Valley. From their origins in Margaux in the 19th century to the present, only the best of these Cabernet Sauvignon vines have been selected for each new generation planted. And they are prized for making wines with intensity, depth of flavour, and rich, lush body.

Sandstone Merlot is supple with beautiful balance,  aromas of ripe red cherry and plum that are complimented by creamy oak notes of sweet caramel and vanilla pod. Additional notes of white pepper, cardamom, and graphite provide more complexity and continue to develop as the wine opens up in the glass.

A nose of raspberry, cranberry, black liquorice, and exotic tea notes. The palate has red cherry, plum, and boysenberry, subtle hints of espresso and cocoa nib underpin notes
of spice and toast. Firm yet integrated tannins and bright acidity drives a long finish.

Blanc is the result of exploration into the best white varieties hailing from the ancient north-west Mediterranean. Native to the southern Rhône, these Châteauneuf varieties have been traditionally blended for many years, encouraging the pursuit of a progressive white blend. With careful vineyard management and a light handed approach in the winery, the Blanc showcases the vibrant, textural and crunchy style these varieties provide in unison.

The Grenache Blanc was picked and pressed to tank. Roussanne, Bourboulenc, Clairette and Grenache Gris were hand picked and basket pressed independently with fine free run separated. All juice extracted to stainless steel tank then transferred for fermentation in old French oak hogsheads and barriques. Matured in barrel on lees for 6 months before blending. Bottled February 2022. Certified Organic and Biodynamic.

Aged in American oak and Sherry casks
