Winzerhof Stahl is a dynamic young estate from one of Germany’s rising star winemakers, Christian Stahl. Christian has been making waves on the national and international wine scene since he established the estate in 2005, winning multiple accolades across the world in recognition of his talent and contribution to the world of wine.

Based in Franken, in Bavaria, Stahl makes wines in a region with a long and fruitful viticultural history, spanning over 1200 years. The Main River runs through the verdant countryside, where small villages of cobblestone paving and timber-framed houses dot the landscape. Auernhofen, where Winzerhof Stahl is situated, is one of these such villages.

Packed with rich, fresh stone fruit, white spice, green pepper/capsicum and minerality and keeps on giving with a core of stony acidity and a relentless finish.

We love this hidden gem of a wine. Erbaluce is a grape you've probably never heard of, we're baffled as to why it's not more famous! Fresh, saline and lemon zesty on the nose, the palate is clean, but slightly textured with a hint of wax. The finish is long, minerally and has note of lemon sherbit, in a really grown up kind of way.

A wonderful dark red colour, with purple reflections. The bouquet is very expressive with notes of meatiness, black plum skin, bitter and sour cherry, liquorice and chalky notes. It is a wine with beautifully integrated oak, finesse and a very long finish.

The nose has layers of citrus and stone fruit aromas, and hints angelica, acacia flower and allspice. Flavours of lemon, yellow apple and nectarine follow through onto an elegant, balanced palate with delicate notes of greengage, papaya, yellow apple and passion fruit. The wine is light to medium bodied, with a fleshy texture and vibrant, integrated acidity.

The blend is composed of signature white varieties from each property: Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Semillon, matured in oak, provides structure and age-worthiness-drawing on Boekenhoutskloof's long-standing reputation for this grape. Old bush vine Chenin Blanc from the Swartland adds depth, texture and opulence, while cool-climate Chardonnay brings lift and precision. Viognier lends a subtle aromatic richness.

Tim Atkin's review: A new addition to the consistently impressive Boekenhoutskloof range, this is a pan-regional blend of Swartland Chenin Blanc complemented by 24% Chardonnay, 19% Semillon and 4% Viognier from elsewhere. Inspired by the whites of the southern Rhône, it's stony, savoury and lightly wooded, with aromas of laurel, thyme and white flowers and a palate of pear, citrus, peach and wet stones. Drink 2026 – 2031

Hazel End on vines Muller Thurgau, Huxelrebe and Reichensteiner were planted in 1990-1993, their Bacchus vines were planted in 2009.

Bright straw yellow colour with golden flecks. On the nose: complex, white floral jasmine notes and minerals. On the palate, it is creamy and savoury, with flavours of ripe pear, herbs and minerality, alongside its crisp acidity.

Located in Fitta, in North West Italy, Suavia is owned and run by the three Tessari sisters: Meri, Valentina and Alessandra.

Xynisteri is the iconic Cypriot white variety, having been grown on the island for over 3000 years, and remains widely planted today. Vasilikon’s Xynisteri is fresh and vibrant, with bright acidity and a lovely texture. It is aged on its lees for four months in stainless steel tanks and bottled in January following the harvest.

Tsiakkas Winery is located in Pelendri village in Limassol region. Costas Tsiakkas established the winery in 1988 which he runs with his wife Maria. They own 5 hectares of mountainous vineyards which are located at an altitude of 1000-1400m. The winery emphasises the production of high quality wines from indigenous varieties.

Fall in love with Pinot Grigio again...this one is fresh and zesty with a fleshy white peach and apricot texture and a clean, lengthy finish.

Great balance and fruit in this high quality Alsace Riesling.

A pure fruit driven nose, perfumed with cut limes and a hint of petrol and candle wax. The wine has a voluptuous, honeyed palate and is intensely fruity with white peach and apricot flavours and mineral complexity. The finish is dry, refreshing and beautifully balanced, and incredibly open for a young Alsace Riesling.

This property has historical importance, being farmed by a pioneering family of the wine industry in the Uco Valley. The Italian José Zingaretti immigrated to Argentina at the beginning of the 20 th century, bringing along his knowledge of vine growing and winemaking from his homeland. He was one of the first settlers of Tupungato, which at the time was a remote and nearly inaccessible area. This wine comes from vines of more than 80 years old. Aged for 18 months in a combination of new, second and third use French oak barrels. 50% of the wine underwent full malolactic and 50% partial. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Only 400 cases made. Drinking beautifully now or hold for up to 6 years.

Stunning old-vine chardonnay shows beautiful density and concentration Precise with a round, creamy texture. It’s full- bodied, refined, soft and fluffy. Fresh and bright. Intense, yet subtle with notes of pear and cherry blossom. Wonderful white with unique character.

After visiting Argentina in 1989, Californian trail-blazer Paul Hobbs became deeply interested in both the terroir and Argentine culture, noticing the unique potential for Malbec and other varietals in the region. After meeting two kindred spirits, Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud, they founded Viña Cobos in 1997 and since then there has been no looking back. Utilising gnarly old vines, careful vineyard selection, very low yields and an unerring empathy for the raw materials, Viña Cobos craft intense yet balanced wines that showcase the elegance and beauty of this region. The wines from Cobos have branched into four different brands – Felino, Bramare appellation, Bramare Single Vineyard and the super premium Cobos.
