Offering great enjoyment in its youth, especially once decanted for a couple of hours, but BOREAS has a long future ahead and will develop in complexity over the next 10-15+ years.

Complex aromas of redcurrant, plum and red cherry with cedar  and spice notes with a hint of pencil shaving. The predominance of Cabernet Franc gives a wine an elegance with lifted berry fruit and a supple, finely structured mid palate. Firm yet fine tannins frame the spicy, long finish.

Penny's new obsession is the rare, native grape variety of Nascetta. This beautiful ageworthy white has lemon zest, green pear and white pepper on the nose, with hints of wild fennel and saltiness. A precise and balanced, mouthfilling mid-palate with a long, saline finish.

Zero Dosage represents Methode Cap Classique in its purest form, allowing the grape, site and vintage to truly shine. The grapes were sourced from a single vineyard and hand harvested before whole bunch pressing using the champagne method. Post fermentation, the wine is matured on its primary lees for 3 months prior to racking when the wine is then allowed to slowly ferment and mature in the cellar for 12 years prior to disgorgement. The nose invites a vibrant bouquet of peach, almonds and exotic spice, complementing a palate of stone fruit, brioche and a lingering, pleasant mousse.

Undicicomuni" refers to the 11 (undici) communes (comuni) that make up the Barolo appellation, the Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come from across all 11 communes. Fermentation and maceration takes place for three weeks in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Then there is 26 months of aging in large wooden casks followed by a further 6 months in concrete tanks.

From Washington State's oldest winery, comes this delicious, ripe and full bodied red. Classic Cabernet aromas and flavours of cassis, blackberries, cherries, cedar and tobacco.

Located in Fitta, in North West Italy, Suavia is owned and run by the three Tessari sisters: Meri, Valentina and Alessandra.

Aromas of crushed, black fruit, damson, mint, oak and mocha.

Rich, almost succulent black fruit which has great purity and exuberance. Impressive concentration and elegance.

This tiny property of 1.3 hectares has seven parcels spread throughout the Pomerol appellation, positioned between Clos René, Château Trotanoy, Château Nénin, and next to Château Le Pin.

Château Feytit-Guillot truly benefits from these wonderful plots on the plateau. The vines have an average age of forty years and are always entirely hand-picked before undergoing traditional fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 14 months. The wine is pure and understated for a Pomerol, with a fresh nose and floral aromas on the palate. It is also one of the best value Pomerols on the market.

Pomerol is a much respected red wine appellation in the Bordeaux region of South ­Western France. Both historically and physically, it stands apart from other Bordeaux appellations. It does not conform to the accepted image of a Bordeaux wine­ district as being a wealthy, Chateau-­laden area with an all ­important classification system. Pomerol is none of these things, yet has managed to earn itself a place among the world's most revered wine region.

A wonderfully mature Chardonnay character with ripe white pear, orchard fruits, candied orange and a savoury twist on the finish. Very well balanced and drinking beautifully now.

Tsiakkas Winery is located in Pelendri village in Limassol region. Costas Tsiakkas established the winery in 1988 which he runs with his wife Maria. They own 5 hectares of mountainous vineyards which are located at an altitude of 1000-1400m. The winery emphasises the production of high quality wines from indigenous varieties.

A serious and complex white from the Douro Valley.  Notes of citrus, stone fruit, vanilla and subtle spice, with vibrant acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Delicious, ripe, Georgian red, packed full of red cherry and mulberry aromas and flavours, with hints of vanilla. Soft and supple rounded tannins with a long, juicy finish.

Georgia is considered to be the ‘cradle of wine', as 8,000 year-old indigenous Rkatsiteli grape seeds have been found in clay vessels.

Palo cortado is a special type of sherry that starts its life and maturation under protective flor, destined to become a fino or amontillado. Partway through the maturation it loses its veil of flor and begins oxidative ageing as an oloroso sherry would.

This combined maturation results in a wine with some of the richness of oloroso and some of the freshness of amontillado. It is a rare beverage though as just 1 to 2% of the grapes pressed for sherry naturally develop into palo cortado.

A very full-flavoured sherry with fruit intensity and concentration on the nose and palate. Lots of dried fruit with light toffee sweetness and oak caramel. Delicious!

The history of Bodegas Álvaro Domecq dates back to 1730, but it was in 1850 that the infamous Senora Pilar Aranda established her winery. She was the first woman winemaker in the Marco de Jerez and also the first to be elected Capataz de Honor de la Vendemia. In 1999, Álvaro Domecq Romero took charge of this mythical Jerez winery and today, current winemaker Ana Real upholds Pilar's commitment to the Jerez tradition, and produces some of this stunning region's most sought-after wines.

A fruit driven wine which is rich and peppery on the nose. The palate is beautifully balanced with sweet cherry, plum, pepper and liquorice. Extended oak age adds to the structure, softening the tannins, the finish is long with a spicy note.

Food match: This wine will pair perfectly with pasta, pizza and grilled meats cooked over flame.

A blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Mourvedre for complexity. This wine ferments spontaneously with wild yeasts and following this is then transferred to barrel for 16 months to mature.

An excellent example of cool climate Riesling. Elegant aromas of ripe lime, wax and stone fruit on the nose. On the palate, lots of ripe stone fruits again and a long, zesty finish.

Passel Estate, founded by Wendy and Barry Stimpson, is in the heart of the spectacular Margaret River region. Their 6Ha vineyards are surrounded by an impressive granite outcrop and pristine bushland of ancient flora. Sea breezes from the Ocean nearby provide calming relief in the hot summer months and this special location not only produces some of the region’s finest wine grapes, but also provides sanctuary to the endangered Western Ringtail Possum, whose collective noun is a "Passel”!

Liatiko is an indigenous Cretan grape variety , light ruby/garent in colour. The nose has a rich, ripe red fruit and sweet spice character. The palate is full, but has very soft tannins. 

Under organic conversion, this is a pale, shimmering ruby, hedonistic, unoaked light -coloured red with gorgeous perfumed, strawberry and raspberry liqueur notes, hints of game and fennel. Plump vibrant fruits, a refreshing thread of fine-pitched acidity, poised slightly grippy yet elegant tannins - hard to resist.

The 2021 Barbaresco is a gorgeous, deep wine. Although the aromatics are a bit
closed, the 2021 shows gorgeous depth and a touch more palate presence than is
typically the case for this bottling. Dark and enveloping, the 2021 will offer a number
of years of very fine drinking. It is an impressive, classy wine from Produttori del
Barbaresco.
