The Kalkofen vineyard is located on the western edge of the town of Deidesheim, which is in the heart of the Palatinate wine growing area. The name of the vineyard, Kalkofen, is an old limestone-brick oven in the middle-ages. There is a high content of limestone in this part of the area, which gives a lot of minerality to the vines and is noticeable in the fine wines produced from these Grand Cru (Grosse Lage) vineyards.

Delicate aromatic characters of ripe peach, apricot and melon, lead to a refreshing
acidity which balances the rich and charming palate. With an impressively aromatic
finish, this is the quintessential introduction to the Vidiano grape.

Passel Estate, founded by Wendy and Barry Stimpson, is in the heart of the spectacular Margaret River region. Their six hectares of vineyards are surrounded by an impressive granite outcrop and a pristine nature reserve of ancient flora. Sea breezes from the Indian Ocean provide calming relief in the hot summer months and this special location not only produces some of the region’s finest wine grapes, but also provides sanctuary to the endangered Western Ringtail Possum, whose collective noun is a "Passel”!

Food Match: We love this wine for its complexity of aromatics and concentration of flavours on the palate. White fish with fresh asparagus or Samphire is a great pairing.

Ruby red in colour and beautifully fresh and fruity on the nose and palate. Velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. The Dão region of Portugal is known as their Burgundy - when you taste this lovely wine you will understand why.

Achleiten is a legendary vineyard in the Wachau village of Weissenkirchen. It is famous for wines with inimitable mineral character. Dry stone walls dating back to the 12th century. The silicate-rich soil commands this vineyard’s landscape. On the upper terraces, gneiss is the prevailing subsoil, the lower terraces are dominated by dark, schistous amphibolites.

The Domäne Wachau is deeply rooted in the Wachau region of Austria. Close to 440 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by the members of this quality-oriented cooperative – that makes 30 percent of the entire Wachau vineyard area. These vineyards are found on steep terraces reinforced by old dry stone walls and are part of a World Cultural Heritage. Famous names like Achleiten, Kollmitz, Loibenberg and Tausend-Eimer-Berg are found on the Domäne Wachau’s vineyard map and make it the only winery in the Wachau with wines from all of the most prestigious sites in the region.

Domäne Wachau strives for the highest quality and as a member of the Vinea Wachau Nobils Districtus quality association, produces wines in the categories Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd. Grapes are sourced from our own vineyards in the Wachau; the purchase of grapes, must or wine from outside the Wachau is not permitted.

Palo cortado is a special type of sherry that starts its life and maturation under protective flor, destined to become a fino or amontillado.

Partway through the maturation it loses its veil of flor and begins oxidative ageing as an oloroso sherry would.

This combined maturation results in a wine with some of the richness of oloroso and some of the freshness of amontillado. It is a rare beverage though as just 1 to 2% of the grapes pressed for sherry naturally develop into palo cortado.

A very full-flavoured sherry with fruit intensity and concentration on the nose and palate. Lots of dried fruit with light toffee sweetness and oak caramel. Delicious!

Amber with orange hues. Stone fruits, peach and white flowers notes on the nose. Intense with pronounced but soft tannins coming from the skin contact balanced with refreshing acidity. Medium bodied and moreish, with very good length.

A wonderful dark red colour, with purple reflections. The bouquet is very expressive with notes of meatiness, black plum skin, bitter and sour cherry, liquorice and chalky notes. It is a wine with beautifully integrated oak, finesse and a very long finish.

Domaine du Pre Semele is located in Maimbray in the town of Sury-en-Vaux 5 km north of Sancerre. The vineyard has been passed on for four generations now and we want to remain a family structure.

Perfumed nose of fynbos flowers and raspberry. The palate is juicy and appealing with notes of rooibos tea and blueberries with smooth velvety tannins and a lingering, elegant aftertaste.

Very pale straw yellow sparkling with fine, persistent bubbles. Intensely fruity aromas with clear hints of ripe golden apple, exotic fruit salad and citrus fruits, alongside a floral aroma reminiscent of wisteria flowers. On the palate La Rivetta is fresh, dry and austere but at the same time smooth, with soft fruity flavours.

Villa Sandi lies in the heart of Treviso in the north east of Italy and has a history that goes back to the 17th century. The Moretti Polegato family have been devoted to wine culture for many generations and their winemaker Stefano Gava has consistently won prestigious awards for their range of Proseccos.

Elegant stone fruit aromas with hints of herbs. Round and weighty on the palate with a crisp fresh finish, this Cretan variety has found a home in the cool Macedonian hills.

We love these organic, low intervention wines from ancient terroir with a touch of New Zealand magic. Expressive and unique you've got to try them!

Straw yellow in colour. Concentrated, persistent mousse. Generous on the nose, intense and well balanced with delicate white flower notes, such as wisteria and acacia blossom, with notes of green apple and pear. Very dry 'brut' in style with only 4g/l residual sugar, with crisp acidity on the palate, very dry yet richly-flavoured, with a long stoney finish.

Food Match:  This would work throughout a meal, but goes best with fleshy white fish dishes.

Rich, concentrated and ripe with aromas of black berries with a hint of tobacco, full-bodied with a wonderfully rich finish of ripe red fruits, vanilla and chocolate. A super Super Tuscan made with 100% Malbec.
