Champagne Guy de Forez is based in the picturesque village of Les Riceys, in the southern part of the Côte des Bar. The village boasts the largest vineyard area in Champagne (866 ha), and today, its wines are in high demand from the Grandes Marques houses for their outstanding quality Pinot Noir grapes.

From the region of Ay, Deutz’s Brut Rosé Sakura Champagne is a deep pink in colour, notes of cherries, strawberries, pomegranate and a hint of citrus.

Grapes are grown in Casa Berger vineyards beneath the slopes of Montserrat in Alt Penedes. Harvested at night, mixed and chilled in dry ice, then spent 2h macerating before being fermented for 25 days. Aged for 10-12 months before release.
Garnacha imparts delicious red berry flavours, Monastrell is responsible for the beautiful colour - floral on the nose, with red apple and pear notes leading to a crisp and lively wine with signature toasty cava finish.

Roberto Gatti spent 20 years as cellarmaster and viticulturalist at Bellavista, one of the early pioneers of the Franciacorta region, before creating Ferghettina in 1990. A new winery and cellars, started in 2002, were completed in 2005 and sit in a magnificent location overlooking the beautiful Lake Iseo. Roberto is assisted by his daughter Laura, also an oenologist, shortly to be joined by his son Matteo. The Gatti's control production of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, using only half of the grapes available for their production of 300,000 bottles. Meticulous attention to detail, skillful blending and long bottle maturation give wines of great finesse and individuality. The 'Italy's answer to Champagne' tag is unavoidable but these wines are much more than that.

Delicately pink in appearance, with soft summer berries and floral notes on the nose. The palate shows bright red fruits, driven by ripe strawberries, fresh cherries and redcurrants, with a crisp freshness and creamy, rounded texture on the finish.

When it comes to English wine there’s a lot to shout about, not least the stunning sparkling wines from Henners. Based just 4 miles from the sea in Herstmonceux, East Sussex, the 10 acre vineyard was created in 2007 by ex-Formula One engineer, Lawrence Warr. Planted with traditional champagne varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the vines thrive in an idyllic microclimate created by the vineyard’s proximity of the sea, low altitude (only 24 masl) and steep sunny south facing slopes. All Henners wines are hand-crafted from start to finish; with separate fermenting of varietals and their vine clones to allow a broader range of wines for final blending, extended lees ageing for added complexity, and holding back of all bottles for at least 4 years prior to release to add depth and richness. Abundant bubbles of medium size forming crown. Pale yellow colour with green reflections.

On the nose fresh, clean and pleasant with good aromatic intensity, mainly primary aromas of fruit and floral.

Sweet on the mouth however well balanced with the acidity.

This delicious English sparkling wine is pretty much equal quantities of Chardonnay , Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with 15% Reserve Wine from previous vintages going right back to 2010.

It was disgorged in late 2021 after four years on the lees. It still has plenty of room for development and will continue to improve for five or more years.

Founded in Aÿ in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne. It also remains one of the most prestigious, considered by many collectors and connoisseurs as the world’s preeminent name in luxury champagne. In 2009, this storied winemaker celebrated a landmark 425-year anniversary.

Gosset's reputation for excellence starts on the vines. The Champagnes are composed almost entirely of grapes from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. Unlike most Champagne producers, this illustrious wine house purposely avoids malolactic fermentation and always performs riddling and disgorging of prestige cuvées and large-format bottles by hand. Gosset Champagnes are made with infinite care and kept in dark cellars for at least three years – and up to five for vintage and prestige cuvées – before release.

Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and round, with a generous core of fruit, bright acidity and a wonderful mousse, it has a long, saline finish.

The Pfister domaine is located in the village of Dahlenheim in the northern tip of Alsace, just west of Strasbourg. The name “Breit” comes from the “lieu-dit” Hangenbreite, “the wide slope”. It is a steep, marl-limestone hillside, where the three grape varieties making up this wine grow.
