Domaine Regnard’s Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc is 100% Chardonnay, grown on clay limestone soils rich in iron oxide, lending mineral tension and structure. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes fermentation and full malolactic conversion in oak, with 12 months’ ageing (40% new) followed by three months in stainless steel.

This Barolo is delightfully fresh and elegant. Along with its full and deep bodied centre it shows notes of  violets, menthol, warm spices like cardamom and dried fruits all rounded off with fine tannins and minerality that leave you wanting another glass.

This spectacular vineyard is located at an elevation of around 1,000 meters (3,280 feet)

The 2021 Barbaresco is a gorgeous, deep wine. Although the aromatics are a bit
closed, the 2021 shows gorgeous depth and a touch more palate presence than is
typically the case for this bottling. Dark and enveloping, the 2021 will offer a number
of years of very fine drinking. It is an impressive, classy wine from Produttori del
Barbaresco.

Rich, complex and voluptuous Chenin stony soils, with a warm, dry climate and sea breeze unique to the Malgas region of South Africa. Fresh fruit and complex mineral  flavours, this wine carries on for a long time on the finish.

This property has historical importance, being farmed by a pioneering family of the wine industry in the Uco Valley. The Italian José Zingaretti immigrated to Argentina at the beginning of the 20 th century, bringing along his knowledge of vine growing and winemaking from his homeland. He was one of the first settlers of Tupungato, which at the time was a remote and nearly inaccessible area. This wine comes from vines of more than 80 years old. Aged for 18 months in a combination of new, second and third use French oak barrels. 50% of the wine underwent full malolactic and 50% partial. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Only 400 cases made. Drinking beautifully now or hold for up to 6 years.

After visiting Argentina in 1989, Californian trail-blazer Paul Hobbs became deeply interested in both the terroir and Argentine culture, noticing the unique potential for Malbec and other varietals in the region. After meeting two kindred spirits, Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud, they founded Viña Cobos in 1997 and since then there has been no looking back. Utilising gnarly old vines, careful vineyard selection, very low yields and an unerring empathy for the raw materials, Viña Cobos craft intense yet balanced wines that showcase the elegance and beauty of this region. The wines from Cobos have branched into four different brands – Felino, Bramare appellation, Bramare Single Vineyard and the super premium Cobos. Twenty year old vines from their the Morandina vineyard near the Lessini mountains is at 450 metres altitude. Soils are limestone, calcareous and the site has a south-easterly exposure.It is a blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, plus a tiny bit of Oseleta, the vine shoots are cut allowing the grapes to dry for a month on the vine before harvesting. After fermentation the wine is aged for 18 months in barrel.

Deliciously biscuity, creamy, honey aromas with beautifully poised acidity and a hint of salinity. A Cellar Door Wines team favourite.

Owned and run by Lawrence Warr, Henners is the result of a long term dream to produce the finest English Sparkling Wine. Lawrence started his career as an automotive engineer in the exciting world of Formula One. Having left Formula One, to set up an engineering consultancy, the search for the perfect vineyard site began. The search  was a lengthy and dedicated one - as the ideal combination of soils, aspect, slope, altitude and microclimate was difficult to find. After two years he found the site at Herstmonceux, East Sussex. The vineyard was planted in May 2007, with the winery following in 2009.

2016 started off with fairly good weather and a mild spring which led to budburst around the normal time in mid-April. However wet and cool weather in May and June disrupted flowering somewhat, which impacted fruit set and reduced overall yields. The unpredictable weather continued through July and into early August, but was followed by warm, sunny weather that continued through September and October enabling the grapes to develop intense flavour and concentration. Sugars and acids were perfect for making quality English sparkling wine and the fruit was of exceptional quality so we decided it was a Vintage year. Blended from 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, the Chardonnay delivers excellent structure and vibrancy, while the Pinot Noir brings body and depth to deliver great roundness on the palate. Our Vintage spends 4 years on lees before release.

Picolit is an ancient Friulian grape, described by famous viticulturist Veronelli as a "meditation wine." Giacomo Perusini was the first to select and cultivate it in the Colli Orientali. The history of this wine has since been intimately linked to that of the Perusini family . Passito (raisined) in boxes where it develops botrytis, and then aged in tanks and bottle, Picolit has elegant aromas of acacia flowers, honey, and dried apricots.

Jable de Tao is winemaker Carmelo Peña's expression of the Lanzarote island. A field blend of four native varieties (Malvasía Volcanica, Listán Blanco, Listán Negro and Diego) from a variety of soils and aspects. Carmelo’s intention is to bottle the nuanced terroirs of Lanzarote under a unique wine. The wine is direct pressed into barrel, concrete tanks and large foudres, where it ferments and ages. The wine has hints of lemony cream on the nose followed by limes and green apples. On the palate, it is textured and creamy with hints of lemon rind and a long, saline, mineral finish.
