The famous Rioja grape at home in the McLaren Vale, who would have thought?-----
Yummy black cherries, sweet spice and dark fruit aromas. The palate has an abundance of blackberries and raspberries that are given a lift on the finish by a crisp acidity. A seam of fine tannins runs through the fruit, giving the wine good length and a lovely savoury finish.
Region: McLaren Vale
The Tempranillo grape variety is ideally suited to the Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale. The grapes come from the Blewitt Springs subregion, which has a little more elevation and a mixture of darker basalt soils and sandy soils.
