The Cline Live Oak Zinfandel is named after Live Oak Road in Oakley, California. The vineyards run adjacent to this road and consistently produce some of their most complex, concentrated and unique lots of Zinfandel. Cline Cellars has chosen to farm this vineyard in the same way the Italian and Portuguese immigrants did when they planted their ancient vineyards at the end of the 19th century, by dry-farming and head-pruning.

A powerful and concentrated Bordeaux blend with ripe, rich red and black fruit characters along with cigar box, cedar and baking spice notes. A long and silky finish.

Rob Fischer, a Napa native, started his winemaking career at Domaine Carneros then Donum estate, Etude, Lyric and Beaulieu Vineyards. Along with owner Baron Ziegler they built a strong network of relationships in Sonoma County and in 2014, when they were offered a parcel of grapes that weren’t going into production, Valravn was born. Today Valravn has spread its wings finding a vineyard parcel here and a row there to craft quintessential Sonoma County wines that are out of the gate approachable, delicious and ready to drink.

Intense ruby ­red colour, deep and complex nose; rich and fruity with a prune and cherry jam aroma, notes of tobacco, slightly spicy. A full bodied wine, soft and rich in fine tannin, with notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla on the finish.

The Ridge Vineyards began in 1885 when Dr Perrone bought 180 acres near the top of Monte Bello Ridge. He terraced the slopes and planted vineyards, as well as constructing the winery out of native limestone. Ridge Vineyards is one of the most prestigious wineries in California and is famous for the 1976 judgement of Paris where a panel of European experts judged the Ridge Monte Bello to be superior to some of Bordeaux's finest wines.

A very elegant Douro red made from foot trodden whole bunches of indigenous grape varieties. Concentrated aromas of blackberries, cherries and dried herbs,with a silky palate of black fruit, pepper, fine tannins and a long, mineral finish.

Soft and fleshy on the palate with mocha notes. Excellent body in the mouth point to a long life in the bottle.

Savoury and elegant wine coming from vineyards of more than 20 years located at the core of the village Nukriani in Signaghi area. Kakheti. Georgia. 

Budeshuri Saperavi is a distinct bio-type of Saperavi , native to the Kakheti region. It is traditionally cultivated in small plots for its aromatic refinement and natural balance. The name “Budeshuri” is believed to reference its historical origin in the Budeshe area near Telavi. Compared to the more widespread Saperavi Didi (large-berried clone), Budeshuri has smaller berries and thinner skins, resulting in wines of greater concentration, finesse, fragrance, and precision.

We've managed to get hold of this very special aged parcel of 2012 Nebbiolo from Poderi Colla in North West Italy. Grab a bottle while you can!

Delicious lifted aromatics of liquorice, blood orange, redcurrant and ripe red fruit on the nose, mingling with bitter black cherry, violets and notes of leather on the palate. A richly flavoured and multi-layered wine combining vibrant acidity, perfectly poised tannins and rich spicy fruit.

The wines undergo maturation in a combination of French and Slavonian oak (some new and some 2 year old) for 12 - 18 months depending on the vintage. The wine is then racked into stainless steel.

From the Quinta do Cruzeiro winery. Made with hidden gem grape varieties Encruzado and Malvasia Fina -  famous grapes in Portugal and should be world famous in my opinion!

Aromas of lime, green apple and toast. This wine is clean, precise and has great depth of richness and minerallity with a long, complex finish.
