Groenekloof is situated near Darling on the West Coast and consist of a series of
hills running parallel to the ocean.
Sourced from low yielding bush vines on with no supplementary irrigation. The
soils consist of decomposed granite and clay allowing for good physical properties
like water retention.

Super elegant, traditional method (Cap Classique) sparkling from one of South Africa's best producers. Fruity, light and fresh on the nose, but 18 months ageing on lees gives the wine body and texture with a hint of biscuit on the finish.

De Grendel Wine

Domaine Lafran-Veyrolles is an estate with a superb terroir and is widely recognised as one of the top three producers in the appellation. Jean-Marie Castell runs this small, traditional estate with just 10ha of vines on the famous red clay soil of Bandol. The estate is nestled in the protective hillsides of the Cadière d'Azur and benefits from a maritime climate. The domaine works with minimal intervention: extremely low yields, organic viticulture and and natural winemaking including very limited sulphur dioxide.

Packed with dark pastille fruit, this classic Carmenère is aromatic of star anise, hoy sin and salt beef, over a palate that is dark and textural but always juicy. Hugely generous Carmenère that demands a second bottle.

Travaglini Tre Vigne is the result of extensive research of the best characteristics of soil, and marriage of three “historical” vineyards. The Nebbiolo grapes from these vineyards are harvested during the first half of October. The grapes are gently crushed and are macerated for around 15 days in stainless steel. Maturation takes place over a 40 month period; 30 months of which 80% in Slovenian Oak and 20% aged separately for 10 months in French Barrique. The rest of the aging process occurs in bottle before release.

Pale salmon colour, with elegant aromas of strawberry, cherry along with hints of lime and tangerine peel. These notes develop further with a distinct floral character such as white rose, hyacinth and primrose. 

The palate shows intense notes of strawberry, cherry and even toffee and Jasmine which linger, for a fresh crisp and long-lasting finish. Made with 100% Moschofilero, which is a variety native to the Peloponnese Peninsula, producing a light and fresh Rose with a delicious variety of aromas and flavours.

The Lantides Estate is situated in the Ancient site of Nemea, in the heart of the
Peloponnese, north of Argos and just west of Corinth on the coast of the Aegean. Panikos and his son Simon run 25 hectares of vineyards which are situated around the mountainous valley of Skoteini in altitude between 500 - 650 meters above sea level. 

The Peloponnese Peninsula is a large landform on the southern edge of
continental Greece. Covered in mountains, rugged plateaus and valleys, the
area has an abundance of mesoclimates and terroirs suitable for premium
viticulture. Native grape varieties such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero and
Mavrodaphne are planted throughout the peninsula. The modern Peloponnese
wine industry began to grow following the end of World War II, and today the
region is one of the most viticulturally productive in Greece.

David Trafford is one of South Africa’s most individual winemakers. David is completely self-taught, save for a few months working a vintage in St Emilion. By trade he is an architect but in 1983 he decided to plant a small vineyard for fun. In 1991 David turned his part-time hobby into a full-time career. More than twenty years on, he is one of South Africa’s most decorated winemakers.

Dornier is a family owned winery that is situated in the Golden Triangle area of the
famous Upper Blaauwklippen Valley in Stellenbosch - their prestigious neighbours are
De Trafford, Keermont and Waterford, so they are in fine company. The property was home to one of the first wineries in Stellenbosch, having been completed in the late 1600s, as well as an historic Sir Herbert Baker home. The winemaking philosophy at Dornier is to produce premium quality wines, with minimal intervention in the winery, that are expressive of the unique terroir of the Golden Triangle and showcase the complexity and finesse of the noble grape varietals planted on the farm..
