On the southernmost end of the Lake Garda, the largest Italian lake, Emilio Pasetto makes his Lugana. The combined effect of low rainfall and clayey soil allows the Turbiana grape to express all its tipicity and minerality, the Cascina Albarone is vinified without the use of oak and the result is a clean wine with intense fruits and zesty acidity in a firm and balance structure.
Elegant fruit melange of citrus fruits and stone fruit with a little pineapple, a bit ciabatta, fragrant, delicately floral, balanced and discreet; juicy middle weight, elegantly built, a lot of fruit in the entree, tighter behind with a fine bite and a pleasantly dry finish
