Vasilikon’s Xynisteri is fresh and vibrant, with bright acidity and a lovely texture. It is aged on its lees for four months in stainless steel tanks and bottled in January following the harvest.

At 420m above sea-level, set high above the picturesque Elgin Valley Andrew Gunn founded Iona. It is here overlooking the Atlantic ocean that he has secured some of the coolest vineyards in the Cape.

Ruby red in colour and beautifully fresh and fruity on the nose and palate. Velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. The Dão region of Portugal is known as their Burgundy - when you taste this lovely wine you will understand why.

Inzuzo means benefit in two of the main South African languages Zulu and Xhosa. The Inzuzo Wine Company is a BEE project spearheaded by Journey's End wines in Stellenbosch and run by one of their talented winemakers, Kaylin Willscott. Kaylin grew up in the poverty stricken Sir Lowry's Pass area. Kaylin's story is integral to the heart of the Inzuzo brand. As a Cape Wine Guild protégée and one of the few women of colour winemakers in South Africa, her journey is a powerful narrative of talent, determination, and community upliftment in South Africa.

With its refined plum colour, a blast of forest fruit aromas on the nose and clove notes on the back palate, this wine’s tannins are balanced with a lively acidity, medium body and a long finish. The Kalecik Karası grape feels right at home in the terroir of Çal and has adapted to it with ease. Organic

Amoterra means to ‘love the land’, this is the vineyards ethos. The harvesting period of the Trebbiano starts from the second week of September. As soon as the grapes arrive in the cellar they are crushed and de-stemmed, then softly pressed. Cold maceration for 24 hours at 8 degrees. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel for about 10-15 days.

Complex and powerful. Dried-fruit aromas along with red fruit compote beautifully combined with creamy vanilla and toffee for a silky-smooth and wonderfully balanced flavour. Very, very long finish.

Kopke, a Port house specialising in aged tawny and aged white ports, is know to be the oldest established port producer, in existence since 1638 and has an incredible library of wine in its cellars.

A wonderfully mature Chardonnay character with ripe white pear, orchard fruits, candied orange and a savoury twist on the finish. Very well balanced and drinking beautifully now.
