A vibrant nose of plum, cherry, violet, sweet spice and dried herbs. The palate has lots of fresh fruit flavours, including sour cherry and plum with refreshing acidity. The youthful fruit combines with spice and bitter chocolate notes giving a wine of depth and personality with a firm, dry and savoury finish - great served with food, perhaps lightly chilled.

Food Match: Italian meat based pasta dishes, carpaccio of beef and lightly grilled meats.

The Dolcetto grapes are sourced from Colla's Cascine Drago estate - where the average age of vines is 20 years, planted at around 350m altitude. The grapes are immediately destalked and crushed, and then macerated on the skins for 5-7 days. Malolactic fermentation is completed before winter sets in. The wine stabilises in stainless steel, and then rests for a few months in bottle.

Perfect everyday sipping whites, dry, crisp and clean wines. Great for an aperitif or with fish, chicken and salad.

This accessible Super Tuscan has an elegant bouquet of leather, black cherries, liquorice and plums leading to a medium to full-bodied palate where ripe red fruit show off the goût de terroir in addition to subtle notes of vanilla and violets, which harmonise and linger, interlacing with the soft tannins and gorgeous silky texture. A firm backbone with perfect integration of acidity and fruit.

Monte Antico was established in the early 1970s and takes their name from the medieval town of the same name located in Maremma, just a short distance from Montalcino towards the sea.

Ruby coloured with soft crimson nuances. Intense nose with ripe blackcurrants, plums and cherries. The palate is smooth and harmonious with soft long finish.

Dark cherry coloured wine. The nose shows fruity aromas, blackberries, cherries and a touch of spice. In the mouth it is fresh, fruity and with a balanced
sweetness.

Food Match: Salads with a light dressing, appetizers, tapas, semi hard cheeses, pastas, mushrooms and charcuterie, roasted white and red meats.

Fermentation takes place over 6-8 days, without exceeding a temperature between 26/28°C. The wine macerates in contact with its skins for a period of 5-10 days. Subsequently, the wine undergoes an innovative dealcoholisation process that allows the
wine's organoleptic properties to be preserved.

With its pale yellow colour and green reflections, the nose has a ravishing charm: dominated by intense notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit). It also reveals notes of apple, pear and white flowers. The mouth is beautifully balanced between roundness and a refreshing final vivacity. Delicate spicy, floral and fruity notes persist pleasantly to the finish.

The grand master of white Rioja, Abel Mendoza never fails to impress with his uniquely complex, old vine wines from small plots planted high up in the Alavesa. Tim Atkin MW often scores between 94-95 for this wine and past vintages received 95 points from Robert Parker. Sublime and a must for anyone serious about their wine.

Light straw colour with green edges. A faintly aromatic wine with classic perfumed Pinot Gris characters of pear and honey with a hint of lemon zest. Refined textural palate, musk, gently aromatic, soft with balanced acidity.

In early 1997, Andrew Gunn, an engineer by training was contemplating his next career move. Having always loved the outdoors, the prospect of farming appealed to him and feeling young and energetic enough to start a new career, left the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg to begin the search for the ‘perfect’ farm.

After months of searching and 40 farm visits later, Andrew and a very tired estate agent stumbled upon a solitary run down apple farm on a mountain top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The prospect of a suitable farm in Elgin intrigued Andrew and on driving through the valley, he became excited by the beauty of the area. Surrounded by the Kogelberg Biosphere and Forestry the property had no agricultural neighbours. The rolling hills and the drive up the mountain to where the farm was situated, 420 meters above sea level, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, was unlike anything he had ever seen. It was love at first sight.

As he drove in and stopped in front of a rather run down Herbert Baker homestead, he felt, “this is where I would like to live”, and the view from the front of the house overlooking the Elgin Valley below, made up his mind.

Dark almost black in colour, with an intense dark berry fruit aroma of blackberries. Powerful, concentrated and full bodied. Structured, but smooth and velvety on the palate, combining well the matured fruit and the oak from 3 months ageing in wood. Moreish, elegant and complex, a long finish.

With the colour of arterial blood, the nose reveals wild berries, rhubarb and custard. The palate is dense, concentrated and brooding opening to a rich mid-palate with cherry-stone fruit and bitter plum and a long finish with a gentle brick-like texture.

Brick red appearance, with a very rich aroma of very ripe fruit (grapes and overripe figs) as well as dried fruits (nuts and almonds),caramel and coffee. On the palate fresh and elegant with good acidity. The long finish is dominated by dried fruits.

Juicy and moreish Carmenère from a unique vineyard site.

Deep dark red in colour with an elegant complex nose, plenty of spice, black fruit and violets. With smooth tannins on the palate there is perfect integration between oak and fruit, followed by a long and elegant finish.

Remember what a great warm summer 2022 was in England? Well, the lovely sunshine helped to perfectly ripen Bolney's Pinot Noir crop and the result is just wonderful. A red wine vintage for us to be proud of for sure, this Pinot shows ripe strawberry and crushed raspberry characters and has a long and pure finish.

The Biscardo Family have been making wine from their base in Soave for over 150 years and are currently led by brothers Maurizio and Martino.

During the course of Maurizio's long and illustrious career, he has consulted for well known wineries around Italy and in doing so he came across the vineyards for their Puglian wines. Both the Pugliese and Veneto wines are characterised by an almost dangerous drinkability, aromatic purity and exceptional value for money.

Subtle notes of vanilla and toast which combine with the juicy blackberry and cherry fruits. Very well balanced and super easy drinking red.
