Perfumed nose of white flowers of tropical fruit (pineapple and mango) with hints of grapefruit, candied citrus fruits and sweet spices (ginger and cardamom). Very clear mineral notes on the palate with a long, elegant finish.

Sea breezes from the Ocean nearby provide calming relief in the hot summer months and this special location not only produces some of the region’s finest wine grapes, but also provides sanctuary to the endangered Western Ringtail Possum, whose collective noun is a "Passel”!

Food Match: We love this wine for its complexity of aromatics and concentration of flavours on the palate. White fish with fresh asparagus or Samphire is a great pairing.

Jerez de la Frontera has an important  influence in the development of the finos from this area. Its long, hot summers and mild but wet winters provide a more rounded and fuller style of wine. 1730 Fino en Rama is a careful selection of the 20 best barrels of Álvaro Domecq's fino solera, bottled with a light filtration.
It has 10 years of biological ageing in barrel, which makes it an excellent wine with great balance between the sharp and saline style of the finos and the solvency and roundness of its years of ageing.
