The blend is composed of signature white varieties from each property: Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Semillon, matured in oak, provides structure and age-worthiness-drawing on Boekenhoutskloof's long-standing reputation for this grape. Old bush vine Chenin Blanc from the Swartland adds depth, texture and opulence, while cool-climate Chardonnay brings lift and precision. Viognier lends a subtle aromatic richness.

Tim Atkin's review: A new addition to the consistently impressive Boekenhoutskloof range, this is a pan-regional blend of Swartland Chenin Blanc complemented by 24% Chardonnay, 19% Semillon and 4% Viognier from elsewhere. Inspired by the whites of the southern Rhône, it's stony, savoury and lightly wooded, with aromas of laurel, thyme and white flowers and a palate of pear, citrus, peach and wet stones. Drink 2026 – 2031

COZs is a partnership between two Portuguese wine grape growers, Tiago Teles (Gilda, RAIZ) and António Marques-da-Cruz (Quinta da Serradinha), that started in 2015, in a 60-year-old vineyard of the Baga variety. In 2017, acquired the historic Vinha da Pena in Serra de Montejunto – a limestone formation from the Jurassic period, located 15 km from the Atlantic Ocean, in the Lisbon region. Pioneers in the introduction of organic agriculture as well as new concepts of pruning and soil fertilization in the Serra de Montejunto, we initiated an important transformation of practices and mentalities in mountain viticulture.

Delicious, dry amber wine made in traditional Georgian Qvervri. An aromatic nose of citrus blossom, dried apricots and almonds. On the palate there are hints of burnt orange rind and dried peach, structured with soft tannins and a long finish.

Shilda Winery is located in the Alazani River Valley at the foot of the Caucasus mountains, the heartland of Georgian wine producing region, Kakheti. Its unique soil composition and microclimate provides perfect conditions for vine cultivation, especially for indigenous grape varieties like Saperavi, Kisi and Rkatsiteli. 

A lovely pale straw colour. Nose distinctly fresh with hints of peach and lime with a gentle oak influence. The palate has a good weight with some stone minerality and a long finish. Excellent balance between fruit and oak flavours.

20% of the wine is aged in barrels for 5 months to give extra complexity. Straw yellow, with an intense nose of pink grapefruit and lemon, with hints of spice and bread crust. The mouthfeel is round, full of ripe fruit and a slight smokiness which gives a long and fresh finish.

A beautiful, deep amber colour with an orange rim, concentrated aromas of walnuts, marmalade and sultanas leap from the glass. Made from 90% Oloroso (Palomino) and 10% Pedro Ximénez with 5 years together in barrel, the sweet and savoury blend is in perfect balance. A zingy, bitter orange freshness is replaced by roasted corn and biscuits on the finish. The texture is velvety, but not overly rich. Beautifully layered with dried apricots, walnuts and a long finish that is tangy and fresh. Serve chilled before or after a meal.

Light straw yellow colour.  Aromas of white flowers and yellow fruits, guava with a note of sage. Great balance between acidity and minerality with weight and texture on the mid palate a fresh finish.

After pressing the wine was settled for two days, and then racked to stainless steel tanks for malolactic fermentation. After three years maturation in 50hl Slavonian oak casks it was racked and bottled.

Aromas of green apple, lime, pear, and quince with a creamy texture from 10% barrel aging.

Fresh and zesty nose with notes of citrus, peach, and a hint of honeysuckle. The palate is lightly honeyed and textural with ripe lemon characters balanced by crisp acidity, and with a touch of white spice and a fresh, mineral finish.

80% of the must is fermented in stainless steel at 16/18 °C and 20% in lightly toasted tonneau. Fermentation lasts 15 days and is followed by 8 months on the lees, and a further 2 months in bottle before release.

The bright notes of red fruit with a little bit of cocoa and earth. You will taste raspberries, spices and cranberries. Fragrant, floral aromas of rose and violet with notes of oriental spice and wild, red berry fruit and an appealing earthy complexity. Elegant, with beautifully integrated oak, refined tannins and long, silky finish.

A wonderful new addition to our range of English wines. Husband and wife team Umut and Katie Yesil manage their Essex vineyard with a low-intervention and sustainable approach. They don’t use herbicides and manage the vineyard mechanically rather than chemically where possible, to protect soil health and biodiversity which is hugely important to them. 

Intense red cherry fruit aromas on the nose and palate. This ‘baby Barolo’ is made from Nebbiolo grapes from selected sites in the Langhe region giving a delicious, medium bodied wine  with garnet highlights and a wonderful scent of ripe prunes. This is a really well-balanced wine, rounded and smooth, and expresses the typical characteristics of the Nebbiolo varietal and its terroir. Manzanilla is a style of Fino sherry originating from the port of Sanlúcar de Barrameda where the close proximitiy to the sea and the high humidity contribute to a stronger growth of flor. Made from 100% Palomino, this Manzanillia spent 8 years going through the criaderas and solera system under flor. A lovely pale straw colour, this wine has a pronounced nose of almonds with hints of white peach and distinctive aromas of flor. The palate is light and dry with salty, nutty flavours which are perfectly balanced by a restrained citrus acidity and a pleasant bitterness that lingers on the finish.
