Luis Canas Barrel Fermented Rioja Blanco
Normally associated with red wines, the region of Rioja also makes some really interesting and delicious whites.
A fruity and refreshing style of white Rioja. The barrel fermentation gives vanilla and subtle spice aromas, with ripe citrus flavours and a crisp finish.
Grapes: 85% Viura, 15% Malvasia
The Region: Rioja is divided into three areas; Alta, Alavesa and Baja. Alta is the coolest and Baja is the hottest. Most Rioja's are blended from all three areas as many bodegas buy fruit from across Rioja to add complexity to their wines.
