Alheit Vineyards Hemerland Vine Garden 2024

Very, beautiful, serious and complex blend of Roussanne, Chardonnay, Chenin, Verdelho and Muscat from one of South Africa's rising star wine makers Suzaan and Chris Alheit. Gosh this is a stunning wine! The nose shows classic stone fruit and exotic flavours that we expect from a Rhone style white blend, but then there’s dried orange peel and apricot from the late harvest berries. The palate is full, concentrated and powerful and the finish is very long and complex.

Suzaan and Chris Alheit set out in 2011 with the aim of making some of the best white wines in South Africa, many agree they have achieved this already. It is rare for producers to reach cult status almost immediately, which has created a very high demand for their wines....so we're delighted to get our hands on these few cases.
