Very serious and complex Chenin from one of South Africa's rising star wine makers Suzaan and Chris Alheit. An alluring nose of pear and kumquat with a lift of lime citrus and a hint of stone fruit. The palate shows superb shape and balance—powerful yet precise—with a savoury-sweet tension at its core. Long and concentrated on the finish.

Suzaan and Chris Alheit set out in 2011 with the aim of making some of the best white wines in South Africa, many agree they have achieved this already. It is rare for producers to reach cult status almost immediately, which has created a very high demand for their wines....so we're delighted to get our hands on these few cases.
