Our buyer Penny recently visited Journey's End and the Inzuzo project when she attended Cape Wine Fair 2025 in The Western Cape. She was inspired by owner Rollo Gabb and winemaker Kaylin Willscott's sustainable practices, both from social and human perspective as well as economically and environmentally.
Inzuzo means benefit in two of the main South African languages Zulu and Xhosa. The Inzuzo Wine Company is a BEE project spearheaded by Journey's End wines in Stellenbosch and run by one of their talented winemakers, Kaylin Willscott. Kaylin grew up in the poverty stricken Sir Lowry's Pass area. Kaylin's story is integral to the heart of the Inzuzo brand. As a Cape Wine Guild protégé and one of the few women of colour winemakers in South Africa, her journey is a powerful narrative of talent, determination, and community upliftment in South Africa. The project helps fund education of young vulnerable people and provides 30k meals per week to jobless members of the community.

The amazing kitchen team in Sir Lowry's Pass who provide thousands of nutritious meals weekly to people in need.
