Vinified from the local Tannat grape variety with some Cabernet Franc and Merlot, harvested fully ripe in October. In the winery the secret of modern rosé vinification is to capture all the delicate aromatics and flavours of red grape varieties but then to cool vinify the pale-coloured juice with all the expertise of white wine vinification.

This is superb value for money rosé, 100% Cabernet Franc rose from the slopes of Stellenbosch's Simonsburg Mountain.
