The palate is full, dense and rich with intense and sweet, ripe fruit.  The finish is has a touch of residual sugar, giving some natural sweetness, and is full, rich and lingering.

Colombard produces a light, refreshing, yet simple, white wine with medium body and high acidity. It is the grape used to produce Cognac, though there are many still versions of the wine that feature its easy, crisp array of citrus flavours.

Chilean Merlot has become a byword for value and quality. This cracking example is the perfect easy-drinking example.

Vinified from the local Tannat grape variety with some Cabernet Franc and Merlot, harvested fully ripe in October. In the winery the secret of modern rosé vinification is to capture all the delicate aromatics and flavours of red grape varieties but then to cool vinify the pale-coloured juice with all the expertise of white wine vinification.
