Reg Holder started his career with vintages in France, Australia and the USA before
returning to South Africa. He then spent 11 years as the winemaker at both Neil Ellis and
Delheim.

In 2015, while his wife was pregnant with their first child, he started experimenting with
de-alcoholised wine for her. When they were expecting their second, in 2017, Reg decided
that he was going to move full time into the Lautus de-alcoholised project.
He uses a state of the art piece of machinery that combines centrifugal force and a
vacuum in order to extract the alcohol while leaving the wines' volatile flavour and
aromatic essence intact.

Unquestionably the best de-alcoholised red wine we have tried!

Cave de l'Ormarine is an award winning Cave producing wines from the tiny Pinet appelation in the Herault. Set up in 1992, bit with a history dating back to 1922 Cave de l'Ormarine has made significant investment in the winery and prides itself on the high standards and traceability of its grapes.

Lovely lemon yellow in colour with light golden nuances. Elegant aromas of brioche and dried fruit balanced by salinity and minerality which is typical of the region. Good texture on the palate, light toasty, complex and crisp acidity with a persistent and long finish.

On the west side of Sicily close to Marsala, Cantine Rallo has its vineyards and winery.

This ‘Orange’ wine is bright yet slightly cloudy in colour thanks to the natural approach to winemaking; with no stabilisation, fining or filtration resulting in a wine with very low sulphur levels. The bouquet is a beautiful mix of citrus, grapefruit, apple and white flesh fruits that follows onto the palate. Complemented by Mediterranean herbs and a backbone of fresh acidity.
