The majority of the vines here are the Monastrell grape variety (also known as Mourvèdre in France or Mataro in Australia). Here, every task from planting to harvesting is a true labour of love. The climate is harsh, with temperatures reaching up 40 degrees in the summer and can have a temperature difference of 25 degrees between day and night.
