Recently elevated to Garda DOC, this Garganega Pinot Grigio is selected from high quality vineyards in the area between Lake Garda and Vicenza. The addition of Garganega makes a more interesting, characterful wine than many basic Pinot Grigios. It evokes thoughts of summer evenings sipping wine by the shores of the lake!

The Estate Grown Morning Fog Chardonnay is named for the morning coastal fog pushed by Pacific wind streams into the bowl of the San Francisco Bay. This daily phenomenon moderates the climate to produce excellent, beautifully balanced Chardonnay.

50% barrel fermented in neutral American oak barrels. 50% fermented in stainless steel tanks. Barrel fermented portion was aged sur lie for 5 months. Bâtonnage, the art of stirring the barrels, was performed monthly. Stainless steel portion was half aged on lees for 5 months while the other half was racked clean to preserve the fresh fruit characters.

Aromas of bittersweet crystallised orange peel lead into a palate that is powerful yet refined. Barrel fermentation contributes gentle texture and richness without overpowering the fruit, allowing flavours of ripe stone fruits and lightly herbal notes to shine. The finish is layered and satisfying, with hints of walnut and pear bringing balance to this impressive French Viognier. Pairs beautifully with aromatic Vietnamese cuisine or pan fried shell fish with garlic.

Here, careful vineyard management ensures the Viognier vines produce healthy grapes picked at perfect ripeness. Domaine de Vedilhan, owned by the Fayet family, lies in the village of Moussan near Narbonne. A unique feature of the estate is the brook that encircles it, providing vital water in the region’s hot climate and helping preserve the wine’s freshness and vibrancy. The soils—a blend of limestone, sand, and marine shale—encourage the vines to root deeply, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality. For Serica, the grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, with two-thirds fermented in seasoned French oak barrels to add subtle texture and depth. The name “Serica,” derived from the Latin word for silk, reflects the wine’s elegant character.
