A great Chateauneuf du Pape alternative. An impressive wine from the new team at Chateau Capion. Opaque, almost black in colour, with pure and concentred aromas of plum, blackcurrant and blackberry, perfectly balanced oak. The palate is elegant, rich, complex and textured with a long finish of ripe, chewy tannin.
