This wonderful Piedmont wine is a fresh yet complex Gavi, made with established and old vine fruit. Made by winemaker Claudio Manera, the grapes are hand-picked, pressed and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine then remains on its lees for 3 months. 

This is the most delicious native white Northern Italian grape you've probably never heard of! Aromas of lime and lemon zest, green herbs, flowers and ripe apricots. The palate is fleshy, zippy, clean and crisp. Stunning.

Tenuta Olim Bauda is one of Piedmont's top producers, run by the Bertolino Family since the 1960's. After Sr. Bertolino died in 1985, the winery shut for 15 years. But in 2000, his 3 children bought back what was sold off and have successfully revived the estate and the Tenute Olim Bauda name.

Supple and sumptuous, ripe and ridiculously moreish. It's ready to drink Barolo baby!

Gattinara Riserva is a characterful red wine from Piedmont, a region in Northern Italy. With great ageing potential Gattinara rivals Barolo and Barbaresco. The Riserva Gattinara is made only in the best vintages. The wine spends at least three years in oak barrels and 1 year in the bottle.

This is a fruity, fresh and approachable Nebbiolo. The nose shows delicate mineral notes with hints of violet, rose and liquorice, while the on the palate the silky tannins and long, smooth finish make this a delightfully well-balanced wine.

A vibrant nose of plum, cherry, violet, sweet spice and dried herbs. The palate has lots of fresh fruit flavours, including sour cherry and plum with refreshing acidity. The youthful fruit combines with spice and bitter chocolate notes giving a wine of depth and personality with a firm, dry and savoury finish - great served with food, perhaps lightly chilled.

The Dolcetto grapes are sourced from Colla's Cascine Drago estate - where the average age of vines is 20 years, planted at around 350m altitude. The grapes are immediately destalked and crushed, and then macerated on the skins for 5-7 days. Malolactic fermentation is completed before winter sets in. The wine stabilises in stainless steel, and then rests for a few months in bottle.

Such an attractive, appealing nose of mixed red fruits, very bright and clean. The palate is soft and mouth-filling. Red fruits follow through with a touch of minerality. Great finesse, with a gentle and seamless finish.

Orbello is a small village very close to the Tenuta Sella vineyard where this wine is produced from. A traditional blend that Tenute Sella has been producing for more than 50 years. Nebbiolo, Vespolina and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, all the grapes are hand-harvested. Once picked a cold maceration is carried out. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tank. Aging for 1 year in barriques, and 6 months refinement in bottle.

Travaglini Tre Vigne is the result of extensive research of the best characteristics of soil, and the blend of three historical vineyards. The Nebbiolo grapes from these vineyards are harvested during the first half of October. The grapes are gently crushed and are macerated for around 15 days in stainless steel. Maturation takes place over a 40 month period; 30 months of which 80% in Slovenian Oak and 20% aged separately for 10 months in French Barrique. The rest of the aging is in bottle before release.

Very rare and special sparkling from Piedmont. Traditional method from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Straw yellow with golden highlights, the fine and persistent bubbles, aromas of crunchy red apple fruit, wild herbs and fresh bread. On the palate it is minerally, creamy, and mouth filling, with a long finish.

Single vineyard 'Dardi le Rose' is on the hill of Bussia, one of the great Barolo crus. The vines are grown at 300-350 metres above sea level, with a south westerly exposure. A small percentage of the wine is aged in Slovinian and French oak. Tino Colla describes the 2016 as the most perfect vintage of his 50 year experience. This wine is just superb. Grapes for this wine are grown in Monte vineyard in Lessona and also in Brusnengo, from the "Mesola" area, which has an altitude 350 - 400 meters above sea level. The 'Rossonoah' is made up of 50% young Nebbiolo vines, 40% old Croatina vines and 10% Vespolina. 5 day maceration period for the Nebbiolo. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel and Malolactic fermentation. Aging for a further 6 months in stainless steel.

A full bodied Dolcetto with wild berries, cherries and a hint of violet.

An elegant and layered nose of black pepper, red currant, walnut kernel, star anise, rhubarb, with blood orange blood orange and sweet notes given by the toasting of the wood. Fresh, medium body and intensity. Hints of small red fruits alternating with citrus, red currant, blood orange, pink grapefruit, but also medicinal herbs such as dandelion. Full bodied, muscular, intense, juicy, tannic, the wine has great potential to age.

Carema is high on the northern border of the alpine region Aosta in northern Piedmont. It is made of Nebbiolo grown on glacial soil in this high altitude region which creates powerful, perfumed wines with delicate fruit. 

Luigi Ferrando's Carema white label, the Nebbiolo is fermented in steel tanks with a 10 day maceration. The wine then spends 30 months in oak barrels. 

Elegant, spicy, fruity notes with fine  aromas of dried flowers and roses. On the palate it has a round, tannic mouthfeel with warmth and minerals on the finish.
