“Precise & delicate 2018 has perfumed, earthy strawberry fruit in harmony with a
gentle but durable tannin structure, which, combined with elegance & poise, augur a
long future. 50% wholebunch ferment, then 16 months in half 600L Austrian barrel,

Tim Atkin South Africa Special Report 2020
“Gottfried Mocke made some classy Pinot Noirs when he was at Cape Chamonix
and he clearly hasn’t lost his touch. Now in its second vintage, this is a scented, well-
balanced cuvée of Dijon clones 113 and 115 with 50% each of new wood and whole
bunches. Pepper, fresh tobacco and vanilla notes are supported by sweet red berry
fruit. 2021-26” – 94 Points
