Distilled using local Hertfordshire juniper harvested by distillery founders Ben and Kate Marston.

The rare juniper used in this special edition gin is grown on The Box Moor Trust estate in Hemel Hempstead just 13 miles from our distillery in Tring. It’s distilled to a classic London Dry style with British coriander seed, British angelica root, orris root powder and fresh limes. The addition of limes is a nod to Boxmoor Wharf – once the home of Rose’s Lime Juice.

As with grape varieties, the terroir of a region has huge impact on the juniper, in this instance offering a profile that exhibits pine but with enhanced juicy plum and herbaceous notes.

The bottle label is inspired by Belted Galloway cows. Same great gin but which colour label will you choose? Burnt orange or dark brown?

A classic Amaro digestif, made from the cold infusion of four different types of herbs, with sugar and alcohol in tank. After which they are double filtered and finally bottled. Amaro is a type of Italian liqueur made by macerating herbs, roots, flowers, bark, citrus peels, and other plants. The word "amaro" is Italian for bitter.

The Story of RL Seale & Co

The Foursquare Distillery occupies the site of a former sugar factory that dates back to 1636 and, as one of the most modern and efficient rum distilleries in the world, is designed to be both highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The distillery produces light rums in a three-column vacuum still and heavier rums in a modern pot still.RL Seale is one of Barbados’ oldest trading houses, a family-owned business whose involvement in rum-making extends from father-to-son since 1820. Current head distiller, Richard Seale, is one of the region’s most innovative distillers and blenders and has a passion for producing perfect rum with great flavour.

Rum has been produced on the island of Barbados for more than 300 years, but it was not until the 1906 Rum Duty Act was passed that the industry began to develop as we know it today. Prior to this, distillation took place on many of the plantations, but the new law meant the distilleries had to obtain a licence and could sell only in bulk. Hence many of the Bridgetown trading companies became bottlers, including Martin Doorly & Co, and the growth of branded names began. Martin Doorly evolved into Doorly’s Macaw Rum, and became the first bottled rum exported from the island. Doorly’s rums are still famous throughout the world.

Full of early-1990s complex Jura “funk” with notes of ripe fruits, camphor oil, sea salt, damp dunnage warehouse, cigar box and muscovado sugar.

Notes of delicate orange lead followed by a touch of apricot and popcorn. Subtle pipe tobacco adds to the elegant smokiness and is rounded our by honey and vanilla and oak spice

Aged for a minimum of 10 years, its maturation in oak barrels has added to the complexity of this relatively young cognac but its flavours of spice and coffee, with pineapple in the background, are characteristic of top shelf Cognacs.

Hermitage Cognac was founded by David Baker for whom, more than sixty years ago, wine tasting became an obsession. Soon he was looking for drinks with more diverse and complex flavours. Cognac won the day and the company was formed. Hermitage seek history and provenance in their cognacs which are either vintages from the year of harvesting, or age statements, with defined years of barrel ageing. Cognacs from the Grande Champagne mature more slowly, but this is an advantage. They can remain in their casks for longer, drawing on the oak that will, after decades of ageing, provide the intense richness known as rancio.
Their cognacs are very special so only those from single estates are acceptable. Each handpicked cognac reflects the terroir of its origin and the dedicated skills, accrued over generations, of the family who produced it.
For decades Hermitage have striven to provide cognacs of the very highest quality. Their experience and understanding of old cognacs, and their bookmarks in history, has provided them with an intimate relationship with both the cellars from where they come and the cognacs themselves.

A very long-aged Armagnac from small family producer Clos Martin. Produced entirely from the not often seen Folle Blanche grape variety.

Pineau des Charentes often referred to as Pineau Charentais or simply Pineau,  is a regional aperitif of western France, made in the areas of Charente, Charente-Maritime, and Dordogne. 
It is a fortified wine/ liqueur, made from either fresh, unfermented grape juice or a blend of lightly fermented grape must, to which a Cognac eau-de-vie is added and then matured.

Nusbaumer are an independent, family-owned artisanal distillery in heart of the Alsace. Founded by Jos Nusbaumer in 1947, the distillery is located in Stiege, a small town in the Vosge valleys, to the south-west of Strasbourg. There are several factors that make Stiege an ideal place to distil fruit spirits; there’s exceptional mountain spring water, high altitude allowing lower distillation pressure leading to richer aromas, and a microclimate with significant temperature variations that has a positive impact on fermentation, maceration and ageing.

Years in ex-bourbon and port wine casks have imparted a mesmerising array of bizarre notes. Fragrant lavender, vetiver and incense candles tumble into rich almond nuttiness. Deeper notes such as damp peat and wood smoke introduce a daring double act of creosote and tar, before leather and minty chocolate leap across to sweet pear crumble and salted caramel fudge.

Hatozaki Small Batch 12-Year-Old Umeshu Cask Finish is a 100% hand-crafted malt whisky, a blend of premium single malts, each aged for a minimum of 12 years in American Oak casks before being married and then further finished in bespoke barrels that previously held superior Umeshu liqueur for an additional 6 months.

Properties
Unpeated, rich & fruity, it offers a generous profile of cereals, with iodine notes, fresh pear, apricots and a delicate hint of malty honey. The yellow plum finish brings a lasting touch of sweetness.
