Casa Althay is a relatively new winery built in the heart of La Geria, just outside the village of Uga on the island of Lanzarote. They work with traditional viticulture including many of the craters, which lie next to the winery itself. The wines combine a beautiful creamy textural element with a saline, mineral precision. Their wines are of exceptionally high quality and complex character.

A delicious Canarian white flecked with quince, orange blossom, smoke, creamy yet fresh with hints of salt. Poised, elegant and textured with a very long mineral and saline finish.

The grapes come from different locations on the island: La Geria, Masdache, and an estate located in Tisalaya. This wine is meant to reflect the island, its diverse landscapes, and the work of the different vine growers on their small plots, with vines from 10 to over 100 years old utilised.

A variety of production methods were used here, from direct pressing to maceration with skins, depending on the state of the grapes (health and ripeness). Some batches, after temperature controlled alcoholic fermentation with natural yeasts, underwent malolactic fermentation. Ageing is in stainless steel, resting for 10 months on lees, and bottles without filtration.

A rare and unique wine from the Spanish island of Tenerife. Rich, concentrated and ripe with rustic notes of meatiness (blood and biltong), green capsicum, white pepper, flint, chalk and juicy red wild berries and plums. If you like Nebbiolo or Nerelo Mascalese, this is the wine for you.

Jerez de la Frontera has an important  influence in the development of the finos from this area. Its long, hot summers and mild but wet winters provide a more rounded and fuller style of wine. 1730 Fino en Rama is a careful selection of the 20 best barrels of Álvaro Domecq's fino solera, bottled with a light filtration.
It has 10 years of biological ageing in barrel, which makes it an excellent wine with great balance between the sharp and saline style of the finos and the solvency and roundness of its years of ageing.

and today, current winemaker Ana Real upholds Pilar's commitment to the Jerez tradition, and produces some of this stunning region's most sought-after wines.
