Fermentation was in oak barrels using the wild yeasts from the juice. The wine is creamy and textured; full of ripe stone fruit flavours and notes of acacia, nougat and citrus. Mineral finish.

Light golden straw in colour with bright fruit aromas of pear, melon, and peach. The palate has notes of stone-fruit, banana, vanilla, and a hint of buttered popcorn. Rich and decadent, yum!

Crisp, vibrant, lemon citrus with intense buttery, toasted vanilla notes. Fermentation was carried out using a mix of wild and Burgundy yeasts in 2 year old French oak and stainless steel, adding a rich mouthfeel, excellent body and notes of ripe stone fruit, brioche and honey. Wonderful lingering finish.

Burgundy is renowned for a jigsaw of small plots, fitting side by across the rolling cotes and cru with many different owners - the result of equal inheritance. While some heirs want to make wine, others prefer to live their lives elsewhere, meaning their plots go unloved. Enter Patrice du Jeu, a Parisian restaurateur with the dynamism and energy to revive such plots. Together with family and friends, he managed to buy several parcels in excellent terroirs of the Côte de Beaune including Santenay, Chassagne Montrachet and Mercurey. Joining with white Burgundy expert Jean-Baptise Alinc the wines of these heirs - Les Héritiers - are both technically competent and beautifully crafted.

Vegan.  Whole bunches are pressed gently as soon as they arrive in the cellar and are fermented and aged in oak barrels, 55% of which is new oak, for fifteen months.

Complex, flinty minerality gently supports elegant aromas of citrus, apricots, and pear. The palate is full, rich and creamy, and the fresh acidity gives a beautiful balance to the wine. The oak is well integrated and supports the great fruit character of the wine.

Puligny-Montrachet is a world famous terroir where the Chardonnay reveals its full complexity. The grapes come from parcels, facing directly east, located near the village.

'Great value' and 'white Burgundy' are not two phrases that normally go together.. but hunt through the Maconnais and there are amazing finds such as this one.

A light, fresh and fruity Chardonnay in the Burgundian style, with a perfect balance of concentration, acidity and minerality. Refreshing and very quaffable!
