Inzuzo means benefit in two of the main South African languages Zulu and Xhosa. The Inzuzo Wine Company is a BEE project spearheaded by Journey's End wines in Stellenbosch and run by one of their talented winemakers, Kaylin Willscott. Kaylin grew up in the poverty stricken Sir Lowry's Pass area. Kaylin's story is integral to the heart of the Inzuzo brand. As a Cape Wine Guild protégée and one of the few women of colour winemakers in South Africa, her journey is a powerful narrative of talent, determination, and community upliftment in South Africa.

Springfield Estate

Zero Dosage represents Methode Cap Classique in its purest form, allowing the grape, site and vintage to truly shine. The grapes were sourced from a single vineyard and hand harvested before whole bunch pressing using the champagne method. Post fermentation, the wine is matured on its primary lees for 3 months prior to racking when the wine is then allowed to slowly ferment and mature in the cellar for 12 years prior to disgorgement. The nose invites a vibrant bouquet of peach, almonds and exotic spice, complementing a palate of stone fruit, brioche and a lingering, pleasant mousse.

The grapes are harvested at night, and then undergo 21 days of alcoholic fermentation. The wine spends 100 days on primary lees, and all racking is done under CO2 for 2-3 weeks.
