We could tell you that our friends, the 3 Brewers of St Albans, have created an ale that has a deep amber colour, a light hoppy aroma and a rich and rounded malty taste balanced by subtle hoppiness to give a supremely clean, smooth and refreshing taste, but there's no need really. Suffice to say that we think they've created a modern classic here and we're pretty confident that you'll agree - just don't tell the Brewers about the OCD comment, particularly not the big one....

Brewed using only British hops.

Gorgeous garnet colour. Aromas of roasted beetroot, rosemary, sun dried tomato, and ripe figs with a round, vibrant, fruity palate. Flavours of pomegranate reduction, chocolate and fresh coffee. Savoury, black olive finish. A balanced, complex Amarone with a rustic charm.

Amarone also known as Amarone della Valpolicella - a powerful red wine from Italy's Veneto region. It is made from the same grapes as Valpolicella: with Corvina and Rondinella as the main varieties, other grapes used are Molinara, Corvinone and Dindarella.

If you're a rich white Burgundy fan - then this is the wine for you. A rich nose of lemon curd and freshly baked butter biscuits. The beautifully fruity core is perfectly balanced by layers of oak spice, vanilla and roasted almonds. Supple with fresh acidity and an underlying minerality, which adds focus and length to the finish.

Aged for more than 2 years in durmast casks, this Brunello expresses the character and nobility of the hand-harvested grapes from the Vigna del Castello and the Vigna del Velo. From one of the most important vintages of the century, great ageing potential is combined here with an already appealing drinkability, characteristic of the Tricerchi style.

The Castello Tricerchi Estate is situated on the northern side of Montalcino. Thirteen of the 400 hectares are covered with Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino vineyards. In the centre of the Estate stands the eponymous castle which was built in the
13th Century by the Altesi family and completed by the Tricerchi family in 1441; now it serves as both winery and home to their direct descendants, the Squarcia family.

Drinking Window 2024-2034

This Port has a beautiful red gold appearance in the glass. Expressing aromas of dried cranberry, raisin and rich plum. As well as notes of cedar and Christmas pudding. 

On the palate this wine is lusciously balanced with flavours of candied orange peel and plum. Followed by a lasting, spicy finish.

London Dry style gin crafted using botanicals unique to the Cape region. Kalahari Truffles, the signature botanical used and known locally as !N'abbas, can only be found by experienced truffle hunters after it rains, when the truffles swell up and create a distinctive cross shaped crack in the ground giving away their location. This cross in the land is where the gin derives its name from.

The gin is double distilled from grapes with more common botanicals juniper, coriander, cardamom, lemon, almond and aniseed and then two other more whackey South African botanicals, Rooibos and Honeybush, which compliment the truffle to give Cruxland gin a distinct South African character .

Dark, ruby red in colour. A pervasive bouquet, which is very generous and varied, with hints of violet, raspberry and pomegranate. On the palate the wine is warm, dry, generous, well-balanced.

AKA  the golden liquor of poets or the nectar of the gods.... lovers and nobility alike thought this to be a tonic for health, fertility and longevity.  Rumoured to have aphrodisiac properties it was historically presented to newlyweds to enjoy their honeymoon.

Black cherries, earthy tones and hints of tanned leather. Soft, supple in texture with a ripe berries and savoury notes, juicy acidity, silky tannins. Dry, minerally, structured and very long finish . Gorgeous. Drinking window: 2023-2033.

A luminous and lifted red blend from Mr Badenhorst. Predominantly Shiraz, with Grenache, Tinta Barocca and some Cinsault from mostly old bushvines growing in the decomposed granite soils of the Paardeberg mountain. Very youthful, with a kaleidoscope of aromas - cherries, blackberries and redcurrant coulis, and multi-layered floral aromas-roses, lavender, pink peppercorns and violets.

Quinta da Pedra Alta 'Alto' Tinto is a perfumed, hedonistic Douro red, made from parcels from our highest (Alto) elevations on the Quinta.

Aromas of red and blue fruits, with lifted bergamot and exotic spice notes. This is a rich, hedonistic wine, with an Indian ink mid-palate, and an Earl Grey finish.
