Chateau Beausite Cru Bourgeois St Esteph 2011
Remarkably great value for money Bordeaux. The majority of it is Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend yielding a wine with ripe and concentrated blackcurrant fruit, balanced oak and good structure. A typical Saint Estephe full of power and attitude.

Cantine Rallo La Clarissa Syrah
The Clarissa Syrah has an intensely fruity nose with black cherry, blackberries, hints of bacon with a touch of leather. A little more than medium bodied, rich and round with plenty of fruit on the palate that contributes nicely delineated structural tannins. Compares with a Rhone-Valley Syrah. Country: Italy Region: Sicily Grapes: Syrah ABV: 14.5% On the west side of Sicily close to Marsala, is where Cantine Rallo calls home. Working organically, the Vesco family focus on creating fragrant crisp Catarratto and perfumed fresh Nero d'Avola from their hillside vineyards. These vineyards are certified organic and are nestled high up in the hills south of Alcamo to take advantage of the slightly cooler temperatures and greater diurnal differences. The vines look down on the town of Marsala where, when the grapes have been harvested, they are taken. Here Andrea Vesco treats them with respect, utilising modern technology to ensure the freshness is retained for the final wines and creating elegant examples of the varieties that are anything but what you would expect from such a hot land.

Domaine de la Solitude Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2015
A rich and opulent wine with ripe blackcurrant aromas layered with notes of the herbs and flowers. Full bodied but with a soft texture on the palate; this wine retains the estate's characteristic elegance whilst embracing a modern style of winemaking. Ripe fruits combine with notes of cocoa and cherry and a hint of liquorice on the finish. Excellent example!
