Founded in Aÿ in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne. It also remains one of the most prestigious, considered by many collectors and connoisseurs as the world’s preeminent name in luxury champagne. In 2009, this storied winemaker celebrated a landmark 425-year anniversary.

Gosset's reputation for excellence starts on the vines. The Champagnes are composed almost entirely of grapes from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. Unlike most Champagne producers, this illustrious wine house purposely avoids malolactic fermentation and always performs riddling and disgorging of prestige cuvées and large-format bottles by hand. Gosset Champagnes are made with infinite care and kept in dark cellars for at least three years – and up to five for vintage and prestige cuvées – before release.

Understanding Rioja terms:
Crianza - at least 1 year in barrel before release.
Reserva -  aged for 3 years with at least 1 year in barrel and 6 months in bottle before release.
Gran Reserva - aged for 5 years with at least 2 years in barrel and 2 years in bottle before release.

Deep, intense violet colour with aromas of  plums, raspberries, black fruits, blackberries. Subtle notes of strawberry, floral and violets. In the mouth this wine displays more mineral and earthy tones, balanced with structured, ripe tannins.

Gorgeous garnet colour. Aromas of roasted beetroot, rosemary, sun dried tomato, and ripe figs with a round, vibrant, fruity palate. Flavours of pomegranate, chocolate and fresh coffee. Savoury, black olive finish. A balanced, complex Amarone with great elegance and freshness.

Amarone also known as Amarone della Valpolicella - a powerful red wine from Italy's Veneto region. It is made from the same grapes as Valpolicella: with Corvina and Rondinella as the main varieties, other grapes used are Molinara, Corvinone and Dindarella.

Very few places are capable of making high quality Pinot Noir. This one is exceptional.

Bitter dark cherry and ripe mulberry on the nose. Juicy red fruit and red plum skin flavours on the palate, super soft tannins. Light and easy drinking, perfect summer red for sipping on the verandah.

Deep ruby red colour. Concentrated and rich with aromas of blueberry, mulberry, dried cherries, leather and cedar. The palate follows through with concentrated red and black fruit characters and a long, silky tannin finish.
