Tokaji wines have enjoyed a long, glorious history. Louis XIV of France described them as “The wine of Kings and King of wines”, whilst Catherine the Great of Russia stationed a contingent of Cossack soldiers in the region to protect the vineyards and escort the wine on its journey to St. Petersburg. Many European monarchs are known to have enjoyed Tokaji wines over the centuries. Napoleon III ordered 30–40 barrels of Tokaji for the Imperial Court each year, while Emperor Franz Joseph sent Queen Victoria a gift of Tokaji every year on her birthday - a dozen bottles for each year of her age.

The signature red from legendary Northern Rhône producer Paul Jaboulet Aîné, this Côtes du Rhône is immensely pleasurable with notes of wild berries, white pepper, lavender and cherries.

Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné was founded in 1834 and cultivates the iconic terroirs
from the northern Rhône Valley across seven appellations. Family owned by the Frey
family since 2006, talented winemaker Caroline Frey and her team implement heroic
viticulture techniques on the unique, heritage landscapes.

Expressive nose displaying blueberry, red plum, red and sour cherry. In the mouth, the delightful notes of cacao, plums and caramel, with a hint of vanilla (6 months in oak) make it very elegant. The palate is fleshy, with good entrance, balanced acidity, soft tannins and a lasting finish.

Patricio Pereyra Pato is the owner and visionary of Bodegas Don Rosendo, Lujan de Cuyo A small estate with organic vineyards in some of the best sub-regions of Mendoza (including La Consulta and Agrelo) and with the superb Gabriela Zavala leading the winemaking, the quality is astonishingly high.

This non-alcoholic sparkling has notes of red berries, white strawberry, violet, blackcurrant and hints of fresh herbs. It`s dry, fresh and mineral.

Beautiful amber, golden coloured wine. Aromas of vanilla,tropical fruit, ripe stone fruit, with hints of orange zest and orange peel. On the palate, lovely dried fruit (apricot) flavours with nutty hints. The finish is fresh with soft, grippy tannins.

A blend of 4 Georgian indigenous grape varieties – Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri Mtsvane, Khikhvi and Kisi, harvested in Kakheti, east Georgia. Grapes are exclusively hand selected and only the highest quality, fully ripe grapes are used for production. The wine is made using old Kakhetian traditional winemaking method with skin contact. Fermentation on skins takes place for 7-10 days, once the fermentation is finished the grape skin remain with the wine for 6 months.

Aromatics of grass, green pineapple and lemon. The palate has a crisp acidity, with grass and tropical fruit following through from the nose. Along, mineral and slightly saline finish.

quality has been led by the highly-decorated winemaker, Rafael Tirado, backing up owner Raul Del'Oro's vision.

A brilliant ruby red colour, the aromas hinting at currants and cassis with notes of herbs and bitter cherry whilst the palate is elegantly structured, with characters of red currant, and ripe cherries. A long, sophisticated finish. This wine is drinking beautifully now, but will evolve nicely over the next 2-5 years.

On the west side of Sicily close to Marsala, Caruso Minini have their 4th generation vineyards and winery.

Saperavi is often compared to Malbec, Cabernet Franc and even Gamay depending on how it is made. This is dark, juicy and fresh, dee black in colour, rich and full but finishes really freshly with a gentle grip. Delicious.

Sweet, but balanced, powerful, rich and full bodied with aromas and flavours of blackberries, baked plum and sweet spice. Concentrated, long finish with notes of cocoa and baking spice.

The Gil family have been major wine producers in Jumilla since the early 20th Century. Bodegas Juan Gil is dedicated to producing powerful, yet approachable and modern wines, mainly based on Monastrell (aka Mourvedre) which is grown on about 80% of the vineyard.

The winery has invested heavily in its Organic and Sustainability programmes in recent years.

A lively, tropical nose of guava, nectarine, apricot and hints of almond blossom leads to a richly textured palate, has superb length, balance and plenty of finesse. Bright and zesty on the finish.

Vinified and aged on the skins in traditional qvevri clay pots for 6 months

Amber with orange hues. Stone fruits, peach and white flowers notes on the nose. Intense with pronounced but soft tannins coming from the skin contact balanced with
refreshing acidity. Medium bodied and moreish, with very good length.

Clear gold in colour. The aroma is light, clean with citrus notes. It`s medium-dry, has a medium level of acidity, light to medium in body. On the palate it`s fresh with stone fruit and citrus notes.
