The offering of Petite Sirah from McManis Family Vineyards is almost black in colour but with a vibrant and youthful hue. The nose has an abundance of ripe black fruits, predominantly blackberry and boysenberry. Oak aging has contributed a pleasing mélange of rich creamy caramel and maple syrup scents, with just a barely perceptible waft of smoke. Savoury and luscious with a pleasantly persistent finish.
