Crafted in a century old copper still at Langley Distillery, using 100% British Wheat infused with six native hand foraged botanicals growing wild on our island and a further ten as the base. Wild Island Botanic Gin is bottled in Scotland at 43.7% abv using pure Scottish water

Wild Island ‘Sacred Tree’ Gin uses an array of carefully selected Autumn fruits, including brambles hand gathered on the island, added to a composition totalling 22 individual botanicals to create an incredibly complex, ripe fruit, spicy-sweet contemporary London Dry style gin.

The ancient Scots observed a ‘sacred tree’ calendar of which the bramble vine was one representing the month of September. It was during the month of September that the fruits were gathered and it is the bramble to which the distillers are giving prominence due to its predominant character.

The Scalasaig ‘Island Hopper’ takes its name from the port village on the Isle of Colonsay where our company has its brewery/micro-distillery/headquarters.

The Scalasaig ‘Island Hopper’ evokes a journey of discovery, setting out to source the finest casks of mature single malt from distilleries around the Scottish islands and coastlines.

These aged peated whiskies, selected from the Orkney isles right down to Islay, are vatted together and filled into fresh first-fill Spanish sherry oak casks to create an expertly crafted and perfectly balanced smoky-sweet Scotch

Very distinctively oily, with touches of extra virgin olive oil, sweet briar wood, aromatic
herbs (coriander & sage) and a suggestion of smoked lemon peel. A splash of water
releases more oiliness, like linseed oil, a gentle waxiness, and a burst of perfumed,
aromatic carbolic soap, and finally, a whiff of crème bruleé.

Taste

A soft, oily, mouthcoating texture leads into a rich, sweet, smoky palate, with hints of oak
moss, treacle, aniseed lozenges and a lovely, sweet, woody/balsamic flavour. This is then
followed by smoked apricots and eucalyptus oil.

Finish

Finally comes a lingering, sweet/smoky aftertaste, with a touch of cumin, cardamom
and the merest hint of coconut.



A marriage of whisky matured in sweet Sauternes wine casks, together with classic Ardbeg aged in ex-bourbon casks. Smoked lemon peel soars alongside balsamic vinegar, before fresh apricots roll and bank into notes of tarry rope. First imagined only as a flight of fantasy, this is a spirit that achieves the ultimate equilibrium between sweetness and smoke. A rare beast Ardbeg indeed...

In 2016 we discovered James Eadie’s 19th-century ledgers. And after reviving his long-lost blend. Trade Mark ‘X’, we looked at the types of casks that he held in his warehouse.
Like many blenders of his time, Mr. Eadie was fond of casks which had previously held brandies or fortified wines. These included Madeira Cask Finish range
explores the flavours which additional maturation in these types of fortified wine barrels can offer. But some barrels are truly one-of-a-kind. Unique in style and flavour, these are bottled as Single Casks. All Cask Finish and Single Cask releases are bottled at cask strength, natural colour and unchillfiltered. They are each supplied in individual gift tubes.
