We are very happy to announce that our annual summer tasting this year will be focussing soley on the wines of Portugal!

Come and see us and our producers - we will be setting up big marquees in the carpark in front of our shop on the Verulam Industrial Estate, just off London Road, St Albans. Saturday 25th June 2-4pm and 4-6pm.

You will have the opportunity to taste over 80 different styles of still, sparkling, rosé and fortified wines from all of the wines producing regions of Portugal. We plan to give you an afternoon of escape to the regions of Douro, Dão, Alentejo, Tejo and Vinho Verde.

Your ticket price includes snacks, water and authentic Portuguese small plates from local Private Chef, Francesc Condal.

Iberico pork Bifana (Portuguese pork Sandwich) with roasted peppers and caramelised onion

Bacalhau com sanfaina (cod fillet with ratatouille) served with rice and parsley +vegetarian version

Peras bebedas (pears in red wine) custard and crumble

This is a standing/ walk about tasting, no formal seating is provided. Most of the producers will be exhibiting outside under marquees. Please dress suitably for the weather (hopefully sunglasses and hats will be needed!)
