Roter Veltliner Mantler
If you haven't had the opportunity to try Roter Veltliner before, we highly recommend you take this one!
Full bodied with fresh acidity but with nutty overtones. Very different to Gruner Veltliner.
Grapes: Roter Veltliner
Roter Veltliner is one of 22 white-wine grape varieties permitted to make Austrian quality wine. Planted mainly in Niederosterreich (and in particular in the Wagram area), it is used to make spicy, full-bodied white wines with fresh acidity that develop nutty characters as they age.
Despite its name, Roter Veltliner is not closely related to Austria's famous Gruner Veltliner grape variety.
