Pitchfork Cabernet Merlot
Cheeky little Aussie number. We get black olives and ripe tomato savoury charachters on the nose and palate.
Elegant with ripe dark fruit and subtle hints of rosemary and mint, typical of Margaret River Cabernet. The tannins are ripe with a seductive smoky edge of oak.
Region: Margaret River
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
Winemaker Michael Kerrigan, formerly of Madfish and Howard Park, bought this pioneering winery in 2006 so that he could make his own premium wines from sustainably worked vineyards.
