Stephane Briday now spearheads the estate’s 16 hectares, having taken over from his father in 2000, after joining in 1988. Briday focuses on Rully and Bouzeron, with a bit of Mercurey thrown in. 60% of the production is white. The rest is red. Out of the ten wines produced at the domaine, eight are from Rully, five whites and three reds.
Clos Marcilly is an outlying 1er Cru in the western part of Mercurey. It is one of the original five Premier Cru vineyards named in 1943 and, despite its somewhat isolated location, maintains a good reputation for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to this day. The walled vineyard is 7.5 hectares, on a SE-facing slope. In 2016, the vineyard became a monopole, run entirely by Les Héritiers Saint-Genys in Chassagne-Montrachet.
