Ever tried Blauer Zweigelt? One of the classic Austrian varietals and due to its smooth tannins, one of the best cheese wines!
Grape: Blauer Zweigelt
The Gottfried Mittelbach winery is by Rohrendorf in the Göttweiger mountains. Stunningly beautiful. Well known for its Grüner Veltliner as well as their Muskateller, Pinot Noir and Zweigeltt, the business is now run by the 3rd generation member of the family, Gottfried Mittelbach Jnr. Gottfried took over the vineyard on the 1st of April 2014, having worked in the family owned company since his childhood.
They run and cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards and there is no use of pesticides. This is as pure as it gets!
