Bel Colle is one of 3 estates owned by the Bosio family. Based in Verduno, it was established 45yrs ago by brothers Carlo and Franco Pontiglione and Giuseppe Priola. They produce, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and of course Barbaresco and Barolo wines. Today it is run by Valter and Rosella Bosio, with son Luca, who continue with tradition and
age their wines in large old oak botte. “We practise sustainable winemaking, with manual harvesting, slow pressing of the grapes and balanced maceration. Our aim: the storing and transmitting the balance and harmony of the grapes into each bottle, all the way to the glass!”
