Grapes: 50% Chardonnay 25% macabeo 25% parellada
Albert de Vilarnau is a blend of Chardonnay, Macabeo and Parellada. The Chardonnay goes through its first fermentation in new French Allier oak barrels while the Macabeo and Parellada are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks.
The wine is then blended and bottled for the second fermentation. It is then ages for a minimum of 36 months in bottle prior to disgorgement. Riddling and disgorgement are carried out by hand.
