Generous, ripe and medium bodied red cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of liquorice. Cool climate red from the beautiful terraced slopes of Wachau, Austria. ----
Grapes: Blauer Zwielgt
Ruby red with purple highlights. Open and multi-layered on the nose offering spicy liquorice, subtle hints of tobacco, black pepper and appealing fruit flavours of ripe sour cherries and red currant, hints of cloves, wild strawberry and nutmeg. In the mouth, the wine is quite firm and well-structured yet tight and elegant leading to an expressive finish. The silky tannins and a lingering finish.
